Dr. Huang is a professor at the Nanjing Agricultural University. He is the director of the Key Laboratory of Livestock and Poultry (Swine) Resource Evaluation and Utilization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Nanjing). He is also a member of the National Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee and Pig Special Committee, a member of the National Pig Genetic Improvement Program Special Committee, a member of the National Animal Husbandry Standard Committee, a member of the Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medical Association and Vice Chairman of the Pig Branch and a member of the Genetic Breeding Branch, the chief expert of the collaborative research group of the Jiangsu Provincial Breeding Project of Excellent Breeds of Pigs, the chief expert of the Jiangsu Modern Agricultural (Swine) Industry Technical System, and a member of the Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee and Director of the Swine Special Committee of Jiangsu Province. He is also the chief expert of Jiangsu Modern Agricultural (Pig) Industry Technology System, and a member of Jiangsu Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Committee and director of Pig Specialized Committee. He has undertaken more than 70 projects, 1 new national pig breed, more than 170 papers and 20 theses. He has received 10 scientific and technological progress awards at the ministerial and provincial levels, more than 10 standards, and more than 40 patents.
