Dr. Xinyan Han is a professor at the College of Animal Science, Zhejiang University. Her research interests mainly include animal intestinal microbiota and gut health – focus on pigs, interaction between intestinal microbiota and gut barrier, discovery and utilization of gut- derived probiotic from local pigs. Dr. Han is dedicated to improving the gut health of pigs through functional probiotics, prebiotics or plant extracts, and reducing the intake of antibiotics or other drugs by animal.
