Lysan Eppink
Chairman of the British Pig Veterinary Association and Honorary Lecturer (Pig Health and Management) at the Royal (Dick) College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Edinburgh

Dr. Lysan Eppink graduated in 1998 from the University of Gent (Belgium). After graduation she worked as an intern at the vet school as well as in practice (production animals). She moved to the UK (Northern Ireland) in 2000 to work in mixed practice (mostly farm work) . Dr. Eppink started a residency in Farm Animal Practice at the University of Edinburgh in 2001 followed by a lectureship in cattle health and management. She joined the Boehringer Ingelheim UK & ROI Swine team in 2011 as a technical advisor. Dr. Eppink Is the current president of the Pig Vet Society (UK) and honorary lecturer (swine health and management) at the Royal (Dick) Vet School of the University of Edinburgh.
