Heather L. Wilson
Adjunct Professor of Veterinary Microbiology at the Western Veterinary College of the University of Saskatchewan and Vaccine and Immunotherapy at the School of Public Health at the University of Saskatchewan

Dr. Wilson received her PhD in Biochemistry in 2002 from the University of Saskatchewan. She moved across campus to the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization-International Vaccine Centre (VIDO) for her postdoctoral fellowship in Functional Pathogenesis in Mucosal Immunity. She joined VIDO in 2005 as a research scientist and is currently a Research Scientist III (senior scientist) and Program Manager for the Vaccine Formulation and Delivery Unit. She is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Veterinary Microbiology in the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Vaccinology and Immunotherapeutics in the School of Public Health, at the University of Saskatchewan.
